Biography
Blowback, rooted in south of France, distilled for over a double-decade a very personal metal music. His inspiration coming out of Heavy metal, U.S Thrash, Prog and symphonic music, a mix of melody, power and modernity.
Created in 1992 by guitarist Richard Coloma, Blowback music has evolved over time and musical encounters. After a first album released in 2008, "All and Even More" (Brennus), hailed by the press, the band cease activities and evolve in a studio project in which 32 musicians and singers participates, led by Richard. Out of this project, a 2nd album is released in 2011: "Chapter # 2" under the name : "Blowback Open Project", again very well received by the press.
Summer 2012, a strong desire to play live draws Richard to reforms the band, he calls two old friends : Fred Miron (guitar) and Didier Birindelli (bass), Cat Posé, who had participated on the Open Project 2 takes the microphone, and David Schillenger and Max Guerin complete the band respectively : male vocals and drums.
In parallel with this reformation, Richard works on the 3rd part of the Open Project with the involvement of all members of the band. This 3rd album will be released in 2014 with 45 guests.
